MTN Nigeria partners Facebook To Launch Facebook Flex (Freebasics)



 Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN), in partnership with Facebook, to provide their subscribers with a product called Facebook Flex (Freebasics) that allows all MTN users to switch seamlessly between free and data mode.



  The Facebook Flex (Freebasics) is a fast, ultra lightweight and text-only version of Facebook, specially designed for browsing on a browser enabled device. The Facebook Flex also makes it possible for subscribers to post, chat, comment, like and share contents for free on Facebook. The Facebook flex is not new anymore to Nigerians as it is already available for people using Airtel and 9mobile. Below are the frequent asked questions about the new MTN Facebook flex.

Who Are Qualify To Use The New MTN Facebook Flex?.

The Facebook is not based on eligibility. It is meant for both old and new MTN subscribers.

How Can I Activate The MTN Facebook Flex?.

Facebook flex does not require any migration code, all you need to do visit free.facebook.com or open your Facebook app and switch to freemode as shown in the image below.



What Do I Enjoy using MTN Facebook Flex?.

Here are some features you enjoy using Facebook flex;

Can I view pictures and watch videos using MTN Facebook Flex?.


No!, Facebook flex is a text-only version of Facebook. Pictures, videos or any external links can only be view in Data Mode.

Facebook flex is absolutely free for everyone. If you choose to switch back to data mode(see image and video uploaded by you or others) then charges may apply.

Can I access MTN Facebook flex from any Device?.

Yes, all device with supported browsers or apps
can have access to Facebook Flex. There are few eexceptions such as page view variation with some specific browsers.

Is MTN Facebook Flex Unlimited ?.

No, MTN Facebook Flex only allocate 20MB for a day. Once the 20MB is finished you will have to wait till the next day.

A Facebook User urges Nigerian youths to vote out President Buhari in 2019

President Buhari made the speech while speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on Wednesday. The president said a lot of Nigerian youths have not been to school and they want everything for free. According to the President,  “We have a very young population; our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. More than 60 percent of the population is below the age of 30.
